1. What is DZR Brass?
DZR brass is a specially engineered copper alloy that effectively resists dezincification corrosion. It is suitable for water supply and drainage applications and other scenarios where standard brass tends to fail. Particularly adapted for water supply and drainage systems and environments with long-term water contact, it is especially ideal for highly corrosive water conditions such as soft water and chlorinated water. Additionally, it meets the high durability requirements for materials in commercial, industrial, and engineering scenarios.
2. How is thread accuracy ensured during the brass tap production?
Raw Material & Blank Control
Plumberstar uses eco-friendly brass (like H62/H65) that meets NSF/ANSI 61 lead-free standards. We do spectrum analysis and material inspections to make sure the composition is uniform.
Blanks are made with precision casting plus CNC rough machining. We reserve a precise thread machining allowance (0.1–0.2mm on each side). This avoids thread-cutting errors caused by uneven allowances.
High-Precision Machining Equipment
As a professional valve supplier, Plumberstar has automatic CNC lathes and special thread machining machines (like thread rolling and tapping machines). The equipment’s positioning accuracy is ±0.005mm, and the repeat positioning accuracy is ±0.01mm.
Key equipment is calibrated regularly (following ISO 17025 standards). Calibration records are fully traceable. No thread errors from equipment wear.
Special Tools & Fixtures
We use carbide thread tools (like coated taps and thread turning tools). Tool parameters (tooth angle, pitch, cutting depth) are customized based on thread specs.
Special fixtures are used to position blanks. This ensures no deviation or looseness of workpieces during processing. The coaxiality of the thread axis and workpiece axis is ≤0.02mm.

3. Where can the DZR brass tap be used?
DZR brass taps are widely used in drinking water systems, commercial and industrial hot and cold water systems, central heating systems, and other fluid transfer systems due to their durability and corrosion resistance.
4. What is the MOQ for OEM and ODM DZR brass tap?
The Plumberstar-manufacturing MOQ for our DZR brass tap is 500 units. For newly established OEM/ODM partners or projects requiring market testing and small-batch pilot runs, we support small orders of 200–300 units. Both OEM and ODM models enable you to quickly validate market feedback without compromising product quality or delivery lead times.
5. Is a warranty provided for the brass tap?
Yes, we offer a 3-year warranty. The warranty covers failures caused by material defects and manufacturing issues (excluding human damage and improper installation).
6. Can you package the brass tap in custom boxes?
Yes, we can customize foam liners, cardboard dividers, or moisture-proof PE bags based on transportation requirements and product protection needs, thereby avoiding scratches and thread damage to the valves during transit.
7. Do you provide tracking for DZR Brass tap shipments?
Once your order is dispatched, we will immediately share the official logistics tracking number via email (our cooperative logistics providers are all trusted brands, or your designated logistics partner). You can use this tracking number to check the real-time logistics status directly through the logistics provider’s official website or platform.
8. Is the brass tap tested under real installation conditions?
Ensure that the product is stable and reliable in actual use. Plumberstar brass taps not only undergo routine laboratory testing, but also full scenario testing that simulates real installation conditions.
Simulated System Pressure Fluctuation & Thermal Shock Tests
Pressure fluctuation test: We simulate pressure changes in residential and commercial water supply systems (0.1–1.0 MPa, repeated switching for 1000 cycles). This tests the fatigue resistance of the nozzle valve core, seals, and threaded connections. It prevents leakage caused by pressure fluctuations in real use.
Hot and cold shock test: We simulate alternating hot and cold use conditions (-20℃~120℃ for 500 hot-cold cycles). This tests the temperature resistance and deformation resistance of the brass valve body, seals, and ceramic valve core. It ensures no leakage or opening-closing issues after long-term use.
All products get 100% re-inspection after testing. They have to pass air-tightness tests and torque-tightening verification.

9. Can emergency production be arranged for urgent brass tap orders?
Plumberstar can arrange expedited production for urgent brass tap orders
We keep a 15% emergency capacity reserve for our brass nozzle production lines. It’s especially for handling urgent orders. At the same time, core equipment—CNC machining centers, precision casting lines, assembly and inspection lines—runs 24 hours a day with three shifts. We can switch to urgent order production quickly.
Once an urgent order is confirmed, it enters the emergency green channel right away. It gets top priority in raw material procurement, production scheduling, quality inspection, packaging, and logistics.
On the raw material side, we work with leading copper ingot suppliers through long-term strategic partnerships. We have 60 days of safety stock plus emergency allocation channels. This lets us lock in core raw materials like lead-free brass (H62, meeting NSF/ANSI 61 standards) fast. No raw material shortages will hold up production.
